Scott Essenmacher

Scott Essenmacher is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and is advised by both Dr. Behrens and Dr. J. Carson Meredith. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hope College where his undergraduate research focused on separations via electrostatic adsorption. Also, he partook in undergraduate research on fuel cells at the University of South Carolina. His doctoral work focuses on advanced froth floatation and applying it to industries where the removal of micron-sized contaminants from aqueous solutions is desired, such as the papermaking industry.
